Q: What do the finished adverts look like? back to top

We have included some sample adverts on this site, if you require something more specific please contact us and we will try and find an advert that you may find useful?

Q: What do you need to create my advert? back to top

All we really need are your text, any images you require, and any logos you want including in your advert. Also if your company has any Corporate Guidelines that need to be followed we will need this information as well.

Q: What digital formats do you accept? back to top

Text

Preferably, all text will be supplied to us via email or as an attachment in:

Microsoft Word / Excel / Powerpoint (.doc / .xls / .ppt)
Adobe InDesign (.indd)
Rich text Format (.rtf)
Plain text format (.txt)
Portable Document Format (.pdf)

We do not accept Microsoft Works or QuarkXpress

Images

Please supply all images on disk or via email using the following minimum specifications:

Minimum Size : 848w x 480h pixels at 72dpi
Colour Mode : RGB (preferable) or CMYK
File Formats: .tif / .jpg / .eps / .psd / .png / .gif / .pdf / .bmp

We can scan images from photos and printed publications but the quality isn't quite as good.

If you want to design your advert yourself as stills (for us to animate) we prefer the following formats:

Portable Document Format (.pdf) - please embed all fonts
Adobe InDesign (.indd) - please supply fonts
Adobe PhotoShop (.psd)

Q: How much artwork do I need to send? back to top

In this case less is definately more!

Remember if you have bought 1 minute of ad time and your advert is 1 minute long your advert will be shown only once per hour, if your advert is shorter ie 15 seconds your ad will be shown 4 times per hour.

As a general guide, we recommend that you keep your text to a minimum and make more emphasis on the graphics and imagery, for maximum impact you should restrict your text to short messages or bullet points.

In an average 15 second advert we would recommend 3-4 images.

Q: Can I just send you a PowerPoint presentation? back to top

Yes, if you have a Powerpoint presentation you would like to use, it is possible for us to convert it for use on screen. Please supply hard copies (print outs) of text and images where possible and give an idea of the running order.

Q: What if I don't like the design? back to top

You will receive a proof of your advert, until you approve your advert it will not be shown on screen. If you wish to make changes to the design this is no problem, however to save time please have all text checked and approved, and finalise all your content before sending it to us. Clear concise instructions are always a big help.

Q: Can I change my advert after it has been approved and shown on screen? back to top

Yes, but depending on the extent of the changes there may be a charge, please contact us for details.

Q: What do you use to create the adverts? back to top

We use Adobe Photoshop to edit any images, Macromedia FreeHand to design the stills and then animate the advert using Macromedia Flash

Q: Can I send a finished advert to you in Flash? back to top

Yes, but please send us the original .fla file in case we need to add any coding to it.

Q. Can I send you an advert that is a movie? back to top

Yes, we accept the following formats: MPEG 1, 2, FLV and AVI
File resolution: 848 pixels wide x 480 pixels deep
Frames per second: 25 recommended
Bit Rate: 6Mps recommended
Codecs: We accept videos which utilise codecs compatible with Quicktime 7, please ensure that any codecs employed to create video media are included in this package otherwise we will not be able to use the file.

Q: What size and specification do you require for finished Flash files?

Movie Size: 848 pixels wide x 480 pixels deep.
Frame rate: 25 fps

Please make sure your advert fits into the alloted time purchased, ideally adverts should be no longer than 30 seconds to allow them to be repeated more than once per hour.
