Thank you for helping make "Safer Roads Day" a success.
Overall the numbers of KSI were half of those that have generally happened on the first Sunday in May, enough of a reduction to suggest that Safer Roads Day has been worthwhile and a tremendous achievement in its first year.
This could only have been done with your commitment and support… and for that I want to put on record my sincere thanks to you and to all of those in your team who lent their time, effort, energy and resources to the project.
What's equally important is that it raised the profile of the Partnership in the most positive way, gained lots and lots of positive media coverage for the partnership and showed what can be achieved when a campaign encourages the public, the police, the local councils and the official road safety bodies to work together in common cause.
